In plain view, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a serious impact on the world's economy, both on a micro and macro scale. Various business sectors are also affected, including those in the digital startup ecosystem.
This condition raises various hypotheses. Some observers say, this year is projected to be quite tough for founder startups, especially those who are doing fundraising alias fundraising. It turns out that the statistics are still in favor of the founder, at least according to data in the first and second quarters of this year.
Throughout the first quarter of 2020 (Q1 2020) we noted, there are at least 20 startup funding announced and/or confirmed to the public. We conclude, this figure is actually relatively normal when comparing similar periods in 2019. According to records Startup Report 2019, there were 27 funding transactions announced to the public in Q1 2019. The funding trend is still the same, dominated by early stages and Series A.

Perkembangan ekosistem startup
Tahun 2020, Indonesia menempati peringkat ke-54, turun 13 peringkat dibanding tahun sebelumnya.
