Kalibrr Ambition to Transform Recruitment Process in Indonesia

As of 2018 it has accommodated 650 thousand candidates and served 300 companies

Companies are often overwhelmed every time they recruit candidates for a position because the process that must be taken is inefficient and very manual. This makes the costs incurred swell, not to mention there is the potential for not matching the candidate. Kalibrr is here to try to solve this problem.

Kalibrr is a Filipino company that started operating in Indonesia since 2016. The company combines an AI-based recruitment platform and services employer branding to help companies demonstrate their values, attract the right candidates, and realize a seamless process.

Managing Director of Kalibrr Indonesia, Sanuk Tandon explained, one of the tools the underdog is the test soft skill online according to the candidate's specialization. This test is a substitute for psychological tests that are commonly used for the conventional recruitment process.

He gave an example, for candidates in the position of data scientist there is one test called data interpretation. After taking the test there is a score obtained and can be a reference for recruiters. The more relevant tests a candidate takes, the easier it is for the recruiter to make a decision.

Not just any test questions are made, Kalibrr collaborates with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) which is specifically concerned with improving the quality of human resources in developing countries. Not only test soft skill, companies can list the questions that the candidates want to fill in themselves.

The tendency of candidates to fill all tests, according to Sanuk, the majority is quite good, especially among young people.

"If the psychological test is to see the logic of thinking, while if we look at it now, the company needs it" soft skill simple because it is more relevant to their needs," he explained to DailySocial.

More differentiation with player jobportal existing ones, Kalibrr specifically targets curated job vacancies. The Kalibrr database is strong enough for technology-related vacancies, e.g. job vacancies data scientists, designers, engineers, etc.

Unlike LinkedIn, it is more positioned as a job aggregator, also the job vacancies posted on JobStreet tend to be more general and therefore less niche.

"We are more premium, candidates can bereview direct recruiter from Kalibrr. User experience what we offer is also very superior."

The AI technology presented by Kalibrr serves to provide the best candidates for recruiters from an active candidate database on the site. According to Sanuk, this will result in a higher success rate for the company and provide an opportunity to reach candidates with job roles that have higher opportunities.

Because the system looks for candidates 24/7 and targets those who are still working in the company, but open up opportunities for a career in a new place.
