Imajin Develops "3D Marketplace" Online Platform

Aspires to help everyone to be able to create their own 3D products

Imajin, one of the companies engaged in B2B manufacturing (business to business), decided to develop the Imajin.id online platform. This platform carries the concept of a marketplace that brings together several needs in the 3D field.

Imajin will be a portal for 3D Designers to show their work to be shared or sold. If the design is continued into the production stage, Imajin provides convenience because it has 3D Printing partners.

Imagin itself has a vision of developing the world of manufacturing into the B2C sector (business to customer) by introducing 3D technology printing. The company was founded by three founders, namely Chendy Jaya, Joselin Olivia, and Stefanus Hodir.

"imagination has been running for more than 4 years in B2B manufacturing, but started moving in B2C in early 2018, making platform online Imajin.id. We are already operating in Greater Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya," Chendy explained.

Chendy explained that marketplace Imagin was created to be able to help anyone produce the goods they dream of. He gave an example, if someone has the desire to create CASE a phone that is different from the others, Imajin can help, from the design side to large production. Imagin's expertise is expected to be enjoyed by a wider range of customers.

According to him, currently 3D technology is very common in the manufacturing world, starting from 3D Design, 3D Scanning, Reverse Engineering, 3D Printing, CNC Manufacturing, even to 3D Metal. So far Imajin has produced several things using 3D Design, ranging from automotive, furniture, souvenirs to jewelry. The methods used vary according to user requirements.

About the features in marketplace Imagination, users can directly see a 3D model or product design through 3D View. If you want to produce 3D printing, users can directly do upload design, choose the material, and then get the price accordingly. The 3D View feature is expected to provide a different experience that is not found in marketplace other.

So far, Imagin has had nearly 1000 users with 145 3D designer, five 3D printing partners, and 17 CNC machine partners. This year the company plans several innovations, including opening the Imajin Center as the first 3D Printing Experience Center in Indonesia, which will be located in BSD, and trying to penetrate further into the B2C and education segments.
