IDEC Holds Entrepreneurship Workshop Again, Discusses “Pitch Deck” and POS Services

Held on 31 March and 10 April 2018

The Indonesia Entrepreneur Center (IDEC) will again hold an event titled entrepreneurship workshop and seminar. This time it focuses on providing knowledge for digital entrepreneurs who are starting a business in the retail sector. This month's workshop will be held on March 31, 2018 at Wisma Barito Pacific, West Jakarta. In this event, we will discuss how a business owner can give a presentation or pitch good for investors.

Maredith Peng as the director of Connector.ID and a senior consultant ANGIN will be the presenters in this workshop. Meredith will share knowledge about what is good, what should be in a pitch deck, and is there pitch deck different for different types of investors. Meredith will also directly invite participants to make pitch deck and will provide feedback to pitch deck which has been made.

In addition to the workshop, IDEC will also hold a seminar with the theme of the role of Point of Sales (POS) based services to help accelerate the retail business. The presenters were Bayu Ramadhan, MOKA's VP Brand & Marketing. In particular, this seminar has a big title "Secret Suce to Increase Your Retail Business". The seminar will take place on April 10 2018, starting at 14.00 at the Centennial Tower, South Jakarta.

The two events mentioned above are part of IDEC's commitment to help improve the quality of local entrepreneurs. Since debuting in 2017, IDEC has successfully held 23 seminars/workshops and 5 themed activities expert dating. An event-based approach like this is considered to be an appropriate step, because by bringing together participants with business people, various understandings can be instilled efficiently. Moreover, IDEC limits the number of participants in each event, usually in the form of small classes.

IDEC hopes that with the initiatives promoted by Indonesian entrepreneurs, there is no need to look far for opportunities to learn from and meet reliable mentors and experts in the business world. IDEC is present in the midst of Indonesian society to facilitate Indonesian entrepreneurs with seminars, workshops and other entrepreneurship programs.
