[Beginner's Guide] How to Download Documents on Google Doc
Google doc so the most appropriate alternative if you need support tool reliable office, integrated in various types platform and also compatible with other kind.
Under certain conditions, you will of course also need access offline to the document you saved in Google Doc. So, men-download document is a step that must be taken. Luckily, Google Docs lets you do that easily.
- So, the first step of course you have to go to Google Doc and then select the document you want to download, whether Document, Sheet, or Slide. Let's just say you want download files document. Then, select the document you want to download.
- After the document opens, click Files - Download - then select the format you want.
- Finally a download window will appear and you can proceed to download the document to your computer.
What If You Don't Have Access to the Document?
This scenario is usually encountered, where you only get access to "view" only, may not make modifications to the related document. What must be done to gain full access without waiting for permission from the owner of the document?
- The first step is to make a copy first. How, click File - Make a Copy.
- Then a window will appear Popup like this. Rename the document if needed, then tick the option Share with the same people so that the owner of the document has access and finally click Okay.
- So you get full access to the same document but this document has a different modification history to the original document.
Once full access is obtained, you can download, modify or share it with others.
