Pockets 300 Thousand Listings, Rumah123 Intensively Innovates in the Mobile Realm

 

Startups online property listing belongs to iProperty Group, house123, recently claimed to have more than 300.000 listing properties with monthly records of more than 1000 properties sold every week. This figure is said to place Rumah123 as a record-breaker in online property listing sales in Indonesia. In the midst of its significant growth, Rumah123 also revealed that the company's revenue is now also increasing positively.

As said by Raetedy Refanatha as Head of Marketing Development of Rumah123, since the beginning of the year until last October 2014, Rumah123's business performance led to an increase in income of up to 24%. This increase has finally triggered other developments that are being prepared in the near future, such as the focus of Rumah123 which is preparing a special mobile application product for property agents.

"We already have mobile app for users to make it easy for them to find the desired property. Right now we will focus on mobile app special developer, property agents so that it is easy for them to upload photos and posts property via his cell phone,” said Raetedy, when contacted by DailySocial via telephone.

He explained that so far, property agents registered with Rumah123, usually posts through desktop with or their laptop. For this reason, an application will be provided that allows developers and agents to post properties directly on location. “Just take a photo, then post it,” explained Raetedy.

Meanwhile, from the user side, Raetedy also said that there would be an update for the previously available Rumah123 mobile application. Although he did not specify what new features and functions will be added, he emphasized that his innovation this time will be focused on the user experience which will be further improved. Data recorded in Rumah123, for visitors from the realm mobile devices fact has contributed traffic as much as 45-48%. This means that almost half of Rumah123's visitors come from mobile phones.

In January 2014, Rumah123 has recruited Mario Gaw, as General Manager of Rumah123, and issued an announcement that in October there was a 19% growth in the number of registered agents and resulted in an increase listing by 29%. Since this site acquired by iProperty Group in 2011, Rumah123 has increased traffic di all measurements, unique visitors, listing and property agents multiple times.

The main achievement achieved by Rumah123 is in terms of significant growth in the number of unique visitors. Compared to the beginning of the year, its unique visitors now account for 73% of the total visits, while 48% are general visitors, and 25% growth in page impressions.

Gaw said in the release, Rumah123's rapid growth was triggered by the good performance of the internal marketing team. The marketing strategy that he installed, claimed to be a combination of marketing strategies offline and online. "Besides digital spend via Facebook ads etc. Rumah123 also advertises on Busway, Billboard, Kopaja AC. Because we want to bring Rumah123 into a strong brand," said Raetedy.

Another finding from data collected by Rumah123 is a 19% increase in the total number of real estate agents buying memberships. “We also often hold complementary events such as agents gathering together with the bank, as a complementary event to the large annual expo," he explained. Raetedy also added, in addition to continuous innovation, activities such as events and expos will continue to be intensified in order to continue to maintain its position as one of the market leaders.
