Hoodemia: a Social Media with Academic Taste

Are you bored with social media invented by Indonesians yet? Let's take a look at Hoodemia. Hoodemia is developed by Center for Computer Science (Pusilkom) University of Indonesia. It might be one of few social media site officially affiliated with education institution. What is the eminency of Hoodemia compared to Facebook or other social media sites?

Well, as predicted, Hoodemia plans to be integrated with a specific academic system. Therefore, beside having social sharing features with peers, this site can also be a reference to see academic reports or other academic activities such as class schedule at certain universities. For Hoodemia, for example, you need to register with the official email address you get from the University of Indonesia if you want to access the Universitas Indonesia network and access the academic system.
