Expanding Access to Digital Health Services, Prixa Aims for B2B and B2G Partnerships

In the insurance sector, Prixa technology has been used by more than 2 million policyholders

Technology provider startup Prixa is eyeing more B2B and B2G collaboration so that its vision of democratizing technology in this sector can be widely felt. Currently the company has partnerships from across industries such as Alfa Group, DAV, We+, and most recently Generali Insurance.

Prixa Co-Founder & CEO James Roring explained, the service was built to humanize health services through data and technology. Therefore, B2B cooperation like this will continue so that more people can enjoy this access and take advantage of the services available at Prixa.

According to him, in the insurance sector alone, Prixa has served more than two million policyholders thanks to cooperation with a number of insurance companies. From there, Prixa is claimed to contribute to increasing partner efficiency by maximizing the integration of the use of the Prixa symptom check system and telecommunication features that can reduce expenses by 30%-40% for outpatient claims only.

"To further increase efficiency, meet the needs of partners and users, Prixa is developing additional features for our platform to provide comprehensive healthcare services," he told DailySocial.

Together with Generali Insurance, Prixa is an AI technology partner for Doctor Leo's feature in the Gen iClick application. This technology is used by Generali who wants to run tele-consultation and other tele-health services more efficiently. For example, checking symptoms and detecting more than 600 types of diseases.

Generali Insurance customers can consult with: live chat, voice calls, nor video call for free via device smartphone. It is hoped that Doctor Leo can reduce the burden on medical staff in detecting early symptoms of a disease, especially related to Covid-19.

“We comply with all government regulations regarding data privacy and the use of personal information. In addition, we regularly undergo penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities that can be exploited in cyberattack scenarios.”

Partnering with local government

In addition to B2B partners, Prixa also has a B2G partnership with the West Java Provincial Government. The company is an asset and one of the initial filters for the detection and prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic for 50 million local residents.

Explained further, the Prixa system analyzes the answers given by users based on complaints and questions related to complaints, just as doctors would ask. Then, the Prixa system processes the answers and gives the results of possible conditions based on the information submitted.

“Our system is based on evidence-based analysis, where our team of doctors study research results and research publications, utilize the results, and combine them with the guidelines set by WHO and the Ministry of Health to build a comprehensive tool for assessing symptoms and risks.”

In order to accelerate Prixa's expansion, James revealed that his party is considering raising new funding at the end of this year. Without going into details, Prixa has been supported by strategic partners in the Health and technology sector as investors.
