Grab Support Technology-Based Yellow Plate Taxi "GreenLine Taxi"

Grab started introducing the latest service "GreenLine Taxi Powered by Grab", which are conventional taxis with yellow plates and equipped with technology Grab. You can find this taxi at Plaza Semanggi Jakarta, which is affiliated with the Lippo Group.

President Grab Indonesia Ridzki Kramadibrata, on the sidelines launching GrabWheels at the University of Indonesia, confirmed that the presence of GreenLine Taxi is the result of collaboration with transportation service providers who will soon enter the ecosystem Grab. Officially, the service was introduced on July 5, 2019.

"Grab this as a technology partner for GreenLine taxis. Even though they are yellow plates, it doesn't matter because they already support the latest technology. We make the transaction easy cashless, can buy snack the payment is also non-cash," he explained, Wednesday (17/7).

GreenLine Taxi is brand from the taxi company PT Teknologi Pengangkutan Indonesia (TPI). In a uploaded shows on YouTube, this taxi is equipped with a box containing snacks that can be purchased and paid for online cashless via Ovo and tablets containing entertainment shows from Hooq or streaming YouTube.

Interesting, like conventional taxis in general, passengers can order it from the side of the road or via an application Grab. If you order offline, the payment system is based on a taximeter. The payment can be with Ovo with scan barcodes.

Each vehicle is also equipped with security cameras to minimize the potential for crime that may occur. Driver partners who join are offered a number of incentives, such as bonuses reward, child insurance, educational scholarships, and the opportunity to have a private vehicle.

Ridzki said that GreenLine had already made its debut in several locations, one of which was at Plaza Semanggi, Jakarta. Users can easily find the GreenLine logo on the mall parking lot.
