Grab Plans to Establish a Head Office in Indonesia

This initiative is planned after the meeting with the president

Today (29/7) President Joko Widodo met with Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son, CEO Grab Anthony Tan, and the President Grab Indonesia Ridzki Kramadibrata. After the meeting Masayoshi explained Softbank plans to increase your investment ke Grab up to $2 billion (equivalent to more than IDR 28 trillion). In addition, a plan was also presented Grab opened a head office in Indonesia.

Ridzki explained that the idea came from Minister Luhut and had been approved by President Jokowi.

If realized, head office Grab in Indonesia will be the second head office after in Singapore. In addition, the company also plans to develop products that are experiencing high growth, such as GrabFood and also the development of R&D (Research and Development).

"Indonesia has always been a focus for Grab. A second head office in Jakarta will enable us to serve the needs of Indonesia and the region's growing economies.
