The market share of Umrah tourism in Indonesia, he continued, is predicted to continue to increase. Indonesia is said to be the third largest country that sends many Umrah pilgrims.

The Ministry of Religion predicts that this year the number of Umrah pilgrims will reach 1 million people, whereas two years earlier there were around 700 thousand pilgrims. The increase was due to the increasing interest in religious tourism, especially among young people.

GoUmroh provides a choice of 150 Umrah tour packages with 5 thousand quotas, the result of collaboration with 13 Umrah travel bureaus. Users can choose according to their wishes with various payment methods.

GoUmroh COO Abul A'la Almaujudy added that the company is currently preparing an application to make it easier for users to reach the GoUmroh service. According to him, later the application will not only contain transaction features, but also features that can be used every day.

"Now it is still in the development process, the plan is that before the end of 2018 it can be inaugurated," said Abul.

Although currently still serving Umrah tours, Abul did not rule out opening services outside of that. It could be Hajj or something.

"At this stage, we focus on providing Umrah products first. Because in terms of demand and supply, Umrah has a more massive quota. It is possible that we will move to other products, including Hajj and others," he concluded.

For the operation of GoUmroh, the company still relies on funds from its own pocket (bootstrapping).
