GO-JEK Acquires Promogo, Presents GO-VEND and GO-ICE

It has started to be applied to more than 50 thousand GO-JEK driver partners

GO-JEK today (17/9) announced its acquisition of a vehicle advertiser startup Promotion. After this acquisition, the two companies are committed to integrating the business, placing advertisements on GO-CAR and GO-RIDE assets. One of them is by launching GO-ICE and GO-VEND services. GO-ICE is an in-car entertainment product, while GO-VEND is a retail service on-the-go in the form of premium product samples.

"Through the acquisition of Promogo, GO-JEK can provide access to additional income for partners, and the customer side also gets a more comfortable travel experience with a variety of entertainment and facilities provided by business actors, as well as providing convenience for business actors in marketing their superior products," he said. Promogo was founded in early 2016 by Andrew Tanyono. They debuted as a service provider car advertising in the form of a sticker on the outside of the vehicle. In his explanation, Andrew said that through the Promogo platform installed in vehicles (cars), customers can enjoy various entertainments on-the-go such as movies, music, cell phone chargers, Wi-Fi and news. In addition, business actors can also provide free samples of brand advertised on Promogo assets that users can enjoy.

Through Promogo, we have our in-car entertainment products such as GO-ICE, a retail marketplace on-the-go namely GO-VEND, customers can buy daily necessities or get free samples of well-known products directly in GO-CAR," said Andrew.

In addition to GO-ICE and GO-VEND, the advertising services offered include car top (GO-CAR), rear LED (GO-CAR), car wrap (GO-CAR), media hangs (GO-CAR), advertisements on helmets (GO-RIDE), to back billboard (GO-RIDE).
