Grab Launch GrabAds, Enable Brands to Advertise in Driver Partner Fleets

Collaborate with local partners such as StickEarn, Karta and Interads

Today (22/8) Grab announced its newest business unit named GrabAds. Just like his name, GrabAds will focus on advertising, giving to brand opportunity to improve engagement via platform online-to-offline. There are three types of advertisements, namely (1) Mobile Billboards, (2) In-Car Engagement, and (3) In-App Engagement.

First for Mobile Billboard, the concept is similar car advertising which have been popping up a lot, such as from Sticar, Ubiklan, and others; there are enough in Indonesia. For this model, in Indonesia GrabAds cooperates with StickEarn and Karta in placing advertisement/sticker content on driver-partner vehicles. SitckEarn will focus on four-wheeled vehicles and Karta for two-wheeled vehicles.

Then the second one is In-Car Engagement, in the form of digital and non-digital content that can be presented via tablets or fleet product information Grabcar. The concept changes the car become a mini mobile pop-up store for consumers to understand, test, and buy products on the go. In Indonesia, the implementation will be done together with Interads as the platform provider digital cartop.

The third is In-App Engagement, ads are displayed in widget interactive (games, quizzes, digital content etc.) in the app Grab. For brand can display exclusive promos through applications used by consumers. This feature has been launched since last month in the application, with a news feed It is hoped that the information conveyed is more relevant.
