According to Linda, digital transformation itself includes various aspects. The main goal is to open up as many opportunities as possible for the industry to be more innovative and creative in maximizing existing technological resources. No matter how advanced technology is, it will only act as a tools. The resulting output depends on brainware who operate. Therefore, Linda said that empowering human resources in the business environment is one of the main and earliest urgencies in carrying out digital transformation. Investments to improve the understanding of human resources related to technology are very necessary, to build digital literacy itself.

Involve components that have an impact on the business

One of the results that can be achieved from the digital transformation that has started from the internal side of the business is that the working hours tend to be more flexible. However, this will not be effective if its development is not followed by the surrounding components, and the most influential for the business is of course the customer. The approach to customers must also be able to be accommodated intelligently, in addition to providing a variety of appropriate technologies, modern system optimization – call it AI or cloud computing – can be an effective solution to help bring business customers into digital transformation. The goal is to provide an experience while helping the internal business environment to help customers adapt.

Optimize business operations through technology

Microsoft's study suggests that the current digital transformation journey begins mostly with retail companies in the Asian region. The majority of business people in the digital era are very aware of the importance of digital transformation. For example, the use of cloud computing to simplify business infrastructure. In general, Linda said that digital transformation really opens up new opportunities in business, and 90% of business people believe it. In addition to having an impact on faster business services, transformation in business operations is considered to also reduce various company expenses, so that they can be optimized to develop other parts, such as human resources.

Digital transformation is not as simple as changing the approach of writing from paper to being a computer. Moreover, various processes in business need to be adapted, driven by technological innovation.
