Finally Three BlackInnovation 2016 Innovators Announced

The results of the screening process for 15 finalists of BlackInnovation 2016 who conducted mentoring with professional judges

The biggest innovation competition in Indonesia, BlackInnovation, has now reached its peak. The event for the three best innovators has been carried out, after going through the process screening methods and voting of 15 finalists at the end of last year.

Pulling back some time back, the 15 finalist innovators participated in mentoring filled with judges who had high 'flying hours' in the field of design and development. The mentoring process takes place through concept board systems, so that the participants can communicate directly with the mentors and judges to discuss through their work. After the mentoring process, the finalists presented their innovation products in the form of product prototypes in front of the BlackInnovation 2016 jury, in the BlackInnovation Final Challenge round which was held at Hotel Santika Jakarta, on Friday (3/2). The judges are Danny Oei Wirianto (GDP Venture), M. Yukka Harlanda (Bro.do), Achmad Fadillah (Product Designer), Aulia Faqih (Dirakit.com), Svasti Manggalia (Svas Living), Surya Darmadi (Qlue) , Irsan Suryadi Saputra (IBM Indonesia), and Budi Suwarna (Senior Journalist).

After going through several judging processes and stages, finally the three best innovators of BlackInnovation 2016 were announced. The three winners in this idea and design competition are dr. Ketut Gede Budhi Riyanta with his work Fungiplast (plaster to treat fungus on the skin), then there is Ignatius Ario Noegroho with his innovation titled Ranginas (Hot Wind Clothesline, a solution to dry clothes quickly by utilizing wasted energy from the air conditioner), and the third innovator, Ratu Agnia and Rogers with their innovation in the form of the Lemuria Smart Waste Collection (device) Internet of Things which scans the volume of waste in the TPS, after the volume is obtained from the IoT sensor, the data will be sent to cloud server which has been equipped with artificial intelligence which will provide the best route for waste transport).

Third "The InnovatorsEach of these is entitled to a total cash prize of IDR 30 million plus InnovationJourney to Japan to see interesting innovative places to study.

In addition to the top three, at the top of the 2016 BlackInnovation event, the three favorite finalists were also announced online voting BlackXperience readers. The three favorite finalists are Aulia and Shah Dehan with their work Lockey, M. Zainur Rofit with their product Hanging Fruit Catcher, and Robi Aria Samudra with their product Sekop Baju. Each has the right to pocket Rp 10 million in cash for favorite winner I, Rp 7,5 million for favorite winner II, and Rp 5 million for favorite winner III.
