Web3 decentralization concept

Application of metaverse

In interview Apart from the Co-Founder & Managing Director of Shinta VR, Andes Rizky, it was revealed that the most striking difference between the metaverse and the online world today is the emotional side of involvement. Because, all the behavior and emotional behavior of a person in the metaverse can be said to be close to someone's behavior in the real world.

"As a unified universe, all activities that are difficult to do in the real world can be done in the metaverse. Therefore, there are so many uses for the metaverse, depending on how we want to use it because everyone is the target of metaverse users."

Specifically the metaverse is a digital reality that combines aspects of social media, online gaming, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and cryptocurrency to allow users to interact virtually. Joshua gave an example of what has been shown in hollywood films such as Free Guy and Ready Player One which can then be used as a reference for what the metaverse is, and the right way to access the metaverse.

"Metaverse itself is basically a virtual world where everyone can do various activities like in the real world, but taking place in cyberspace," said Joshua.

Although currently there are still not many general public who are quite familiar with web3 and its derivative technology, Joshua emphasized that similar to the internet when it first existed, followed by social media and others, in the next few years web3 will become the new normal for everyone.
