Edutech B2B Startup Codemi Receives Initial Funding from Init-6

Startups edutech B2B Codemi announced the acquisition of initial stage funding with an undisclosed amount from Init-6. Codemi is a startup portfolio edutech second after education targeted by the investment company founded by Bukalapak Co-Founder Achmad Zaky.

“We are always enthusiastic about education and human resource development. Post Covid-19, every company must rethink and change their HR development paradigm in order to be able to survive and develop," said Zaky in an official statement, Wednesday (7/10).

He is interested in Codemi because they understand the company's needs and are able to provide solutions that really help the company's HR development, especially in the pandemic era.

In this funding announcement, Zaky also stated that he had been appointed as a commissioner at Codemi.

Focus on product development

Codemi Founder & CEO Zaki Falimbany said the fresh funds will be used to innovate, develop new products and improve security structures. He wants Codemi products to be more adaptive to market needs, especially at a time when training and human resource development is difficult to implement conventionally.

"Service Codemi based cloud allows the company to continue to hold training in a manner online in the midst of PSBB, besides making it easier because it can be accessed repeatedly and allows training budget savings, "said Zaki.

At the same time, Codemi announced three new features for corporations, namely instructor led learning, collaborative learningand on-the-job learning. Instructor led learning is a feature that allows employees or partners to be accompanied by instructors in delivering material, either online or face to face.

While, collaborative learning allows employees to have the opportunity to learn, so that discussions arise between employees and create sessions coaching, mentoring, or counselling. Final, on-the-job training will provide a new experience for employees to practice the material training obtained directly.

A number of Codemi's corporate partners come from various sectors, including Frisian Flag, Manulife, Ranch Market, and OK Bank.
