Codemi Turns Services Into a Learning Management System

Services online open courses Codemi plans to change its service course to learning management system. Codemi CEO Zaki Falimbany when contacted by Daily Social said this decision was taken because he saw that the field of training for employees looked more promising. According to him the trend shows the market online training in Indonesia is increasingly “sexy”, with growth of more than 30 percent per year.

“A growing company usually needs to hire more employees. But training new employees or imparting new knowledge using traditional training processes has the disadvantage of being slow in distributing training materials such as induction programs, product knowledge, soft skill, and hard skills, because it requires the availability of classes and teaching staff,” said Zaki.

Zaki added a method training Traditionally it is difficult to help measure the progress and learning outcomes of each employee. In addition, the distribution costs of training materials are expensive, especially for companies that have branches in different locations.

The online training method offered by Codemi is expected to be a solution for these companies. MVP (minimum viable product) Codemi's new product will be launched at the end of January 2015 and the first stable version will be launched in April 2015.

The services provided by Codemi will allow companies to manage online training and online training (blended learning) use learning management system (LMS) site-based, with a SaaS model (Software as a Service) and standalone.

Zaki explained that the SaaS version makes customer no need to prepare infrastructure and can do very fast implementation. The price is also said to be very affordable.

While the version standalone allows customers to gain complete control and ease integration with existing systems. Codemi also provides marketplace closed to provide material online training.

“If you don't have the material yet online training, customer can directly search and buy the material at marketplace Codemi," said Zaki.

He also stated that Codemi has collaborated with eight companies training in Indonesia who will develop materials online training. According to him, this number will continue to grow.

Zaki targets with this new concept Codemi will acquire 6000 users and 100 content online training di marketplace-his. Currently Codemi is trying to attract small scale companies with a free 10 offer user.

In the SME market, Codemi has partnered with a number of consultants. "Currently Codemi has collaborated with three consulting company in Jakarta and already managed to get four customer who will use Codemi,” said Zaki.
