Educational Applications "Ternak Uang"Launching, Targeting Prospective Millennial Investors

Aims to provide wider information about education in finance, especially related to investment, applications "Ternak Uang" launched. The startup that developed the platform was founded by three people founder, including: by Timothy Ronald (CMO), Raymond Chin (CEO), and Felicia Tjiasaka (CPO).

Different from other similar platforms, Ternak Uang focusing on the younger generation, especially millennials, with a mission to create 10 million investors in Indonesia. For that reason, the platform then approaches through features designed and developed that are relevant and modern for the younger generation in dealing with financial issues.

The learning materials offered are quite diverse, ranging from financial planning, investment, to specific instruments such as crypto. In addition, they also provide community services and stock analysis, to make it easier for users to make investment decisions.

"Ternak Uang itself is initiated by young people under 30 years old. This is an advantage to be observant in capturing financial issues that are relevant and interesting for other young people. We also recognize the need to present material in a concise manner and use easy-to-understand language in order to reach a wider audience of young people," said Raymond.

As an educational platform, Ternak Uang wants to bridge between potential investors and investor management. Their mission is to educate potential investors to choose the right investment according to their current income.

Available on Play Store and App Store, service Ternak Uang can be accessed on a premium basis with subscription fees starting from Rp. 125.000/month. All material presented is in Indonesian, so that it is easily understood and reaches the younger generation widely. To accelerate business growth and awareness wider to target users, Ternak Uang also opens wider collaboration with startups to related financial institutions.

"Of course, we support startups or other financial institutions for business growth in Indonesia by providing input to potential investors on the best platforms, of course, tailored to performance the institution," said Raymond.

Previously, there were several other digital applications that also focused on investment education, one of which was emtrade. It's just that they focus more on education about stock instruments, including helping users to analyze the stock market in Indonesia.

Pandemic and business development

Mentioned how the impact of the pandemic on business Ternak Uang, Raymond emphasized, this pandemic is one of the important moments for the company. Many potential investors are starting to understand and be literate in financial literacy because of the Covid-19 pandemic. They also understand the importance of having special financial management ranging from emergency funds to investments.

"Ternak Uang comes as the closest application platform to them because our foundation is digital. The training we do online and without going face-to-face. To develop the business, the company is also considering launching fundraising activities this year, after previously carrying out fundraising activities on a small scale.
