Bahaso and Cakap utilize technology to provide language learning services

Under the auspices of PT Bahaso Intermedia Cakrawala language takes a slightly different approach to Cakap. Overall, Bahaso has 3 forms of learning, the first is in the form of course with material divided into several levels, quizzes packaged in the form of interactive games, and most recently, Bahaso Talk, conversation-based learning with existing tutors.

From the very beginning, Bahaso conceptualized effective and flexible learning. Bahaso carries the concept of coins that can be used to exchange premium content/subscription packages. coins can be refilled or purchased in various ways, payment via bank transfer, Indomaret, to purchase voucher via Tokopedia.

In addition to English, Bahaso also provides course for Mandarin and are currently preparing learning packages for Korean, Portuguese, French, and Japanese. To enrich the content in the application, Bahaso also collaborates with several parties, one of which is the FIB, University of Indonesia. As of the beginning of this year, Bahaso claims to have managed to get 500.000 users.

This year Bahaso plans to explore educational content outside of language. In his interview earlier last year, Bahaso CEO Allana Abdullah said that his party would provide  standardized education to rural areas.

“In 2019 Bahaso will explore online education outside of languages. Bahaso's target for the next year is to provide standardized education to rural areas and improve the quality of resources through online learning and certification," explained Allana in interview last January.
