Kedai Sayur Again Gets Funding Worth 57 Billion Rupiah

Kedai Sayur today (23/8) announced that it has secured further funding of $4 million, equivalent to 57 billion Rupiah. This funding is led by East Ventures with the support of SMDV, Triputra Group and Multi Persada Nusantara.

Previously in May 2019, Kedai Sayur also announced that it received initial funding worth $1,3 million led by East Ventures.

Founded in October 2018, Kedai Sayur is a startup that tries to bring technology inclusion to improve the vegetable artisan business model. The facilities they provide are designed to accommodate vegetable farmer ecosystems, selection of vegetable products, and distribution networks to household customers.

In simple terms, the way the platform works is to open access for greengrocers to get quality fresh products at competitive market prices through the application. Furthermore, the ordered product can be picked up at Mitra Sayur at the point drop off closest. Mitra Sayur also offers a new distribution vehicle called "Si Komo", financing can be assisted by submitting to Kedai Sayur.
