This section provides details about the business, including the company structure, location, history, and company goals or vision.

  • Primary function: Provides details about what, why, and how your business operates.
  • Important content: Company history, legal structure (such as LLC, partnership, etc.), location, vision, mission, and goals.
  • Objective: Show business potential and target market.

Market Analysis (Market Analysis)

Here, you analyze the industry you are in, target market, and competitors. This includes a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis.

  • Main function: Demonstrates your understanding of the industry and market.
  • Key content: Target market analysis, ideal customer profile, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Goal: Prove that there is demand for your product or service and that you understand the market.

Organization and Management (Organization and Management)

This section explains your company's organizational structure and who the members of the management team are. This may include an organizational chart and short biographies of key leaders.

  • Main function: Describes the organizational structure and management team.
  • Important content: Organizational diagram, responsibilities of each division, and important background of the management team.
  • Objective: Demonstrate the strength of an effective management team and organizational structure.

Services or Products (Services or Products)

Details about the products or services offered, including information about the product life cycle, patents, or ongoing research and development.

  • Main function: Explains in detail about the product or service.
  • Key content: Product or service description, life cycle, competitive advantage, and research & development.
  • Goal: Demonstrate the value and uniqueness of what you offer.

Marketing and Sales Strategy (Marketing and Sales Strategy)

This includes your strategies for attracting and retaining customers. Includes marketing plans, sales strategies, and distribution methodologies.

  • primary function: Outlines how you will attract and retain customers.
  • Important contents: Marketing strategy, distribution channels, pricing strategy, and sales strategy.
  • Objective: Show how you will reach your target market and generate sales.

Funding Plan (Funding Request)

If you are seeking funding, this section should include information about your current and future funding needs, as well as the expected use of the funds.

  • Primary function: If you are seeking funding, this section details funding requirements.
  • Important content: Amount of funding required, plan for using funds, and refund strategy.
  • Goal: Obtain funds or investment needed for growth.

Financial Projections (Financial Projections)

This section should show that your business will be stable and profitable. This usually includes revenue projections, balance sheets, and break-even analysis.

  • Main function: Presents financial data and future projections.
  • Important content: Income projections, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and break-even analysis.
  • Objective: Demonstrate the future stability and profitability of the business.

Attachments (Appendix)

This is an optional section that can contain resumes, permits, letters, references, contracts, and other legal documents.

  • Main function: Provide supporting documents.
  • Important contents: Resumes, permits, legal letters, contracts, and other supporting documents.
  • Purpose: Provide additional evidence and supporting information in other parts of the business plan.
