Binar Academy Holds Digital Talent Accelerator & Job Connect, Connects Companies and Digital Talents

The digital economy in Indonesia is growing the fastest compared to other sectors. According to data presented in a press release, the digital economy in the country will reach US$124 billion in 2025, up from US$44 billion in 2020.

This growth is quite encouraging because it was achieved when the world was still in difficult conditions facing the Covid-10 pandemic. Digital economic growth is projected at 10% in 2020. Therefore, there is an increase in business competition between companies and to continue to compete, companies are required to transform digitally. Several reports suggest that Human Resources (HR) is the second highest barrier to digital transformation because some companies still have HR that is not digitally oriented.

As one of the concrete solutions, Binar Academy held a Digital Talent Accelerator and Job Connect. The Digital Talent Accelerator event is expected to improve the capabilities of internal employees, especially in the digital field. Whereas Job Connect designed to make it easier for companies to get new digital talent that will be useful to meet their business needs.

Digital Talent Accelerator offers a number of training programs that are closely related to product creation, including application creation, application design, application management and others. This capability enhancement will help companies to build their own digital ecosystem, or improve related capabilities in the digital field.

The training program here is not only related to hard-skills but also a number of workshop programs to improve soft-skills as a counterbalance. Both are needed so that companies can implement technology internally as well as absorb the latest technologies.

Job Connect available in two recruitment schemes that can be selected as needed. The first scheme, companies can use original Binar Academy graduates who have received education and training. Alternatively, the company can look for talent outside but have already gone through the curation process by the Binar Academy team. The talents of Job Connect immediately ready to carry out the company's digital transformation without the need to undergo internal training.

To date, Binar Academy has graduated more than 4.000 talents from the Binar Academy Bootcamp. Binar Academy has also been trusted by more than 70 companies to provide solutions and help improve the skills of their internal employees. One of them is the program Telkomsel Software Developer Academy which is a collaborative program between Telkomsel with Binar Academy in the form of a digital competency and capability improvement program.
