Alodokter Launches Online Lecture Feature "Alomedika eCourse"

Startups healthtech Alodokter launches lecture feature onlineAlomedika eCourse for doctors. This feature is claimed to be the first presented by a startup healthtech in Indonesia, and has been recognized by the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) as a course online official.

For information, Alomedika is a doctor community platform launched in 2019. The platform was developed so that all doctors in Indonesia can have access to the latest knowledge, information, and trends in the medical world.

Co-founder & President Director HealthReplies.com Suci Arumsari said that the digitalization era in the medical world is growing very rapidly. Meanwhile, doctors are the main key in providing health services.

Meanwhile, Senior Vice President Alomedika dr. Andi Marsali added that this feature is one of the efforts to empower all doctors through scientific facilities and professional support in the form of: Professional Credit Unit (SKP).

"Our collaboration with IDI makes this possible. We provide various ways for doctors to achieve SKP in Alomedika, such as listening to Continuing Medical Education (CME) articles, participating in weekly webinar programs, and now just following the eCourse," he explained.

Alomedika eCourse is included in the Continuing Professional Education Development (P2KB) program category, participating doctors will receive an SKP when completing the module. For your information, SKP is required to obtain a Registration Certificate (STR) as one of the requirements for extending a doctor's Practice License (SIP).

Interestingly, all SKP points and certificates will be automatically saved in the user's account and can be downloaded. Meanwhile, Alomedika eCourse provides pretest and post-test at the beginning and end of the module. In addition, the modules will be guided by senior doctors from all specialists and branches of medical science.

For now, modules are available starting from treatment, studies, to new discoveries with topics including clinical approaches to pain cases, treatment of depression, advanced suturing course, and several daily emergency modules.

Not to forget, participating doctors can propose interesting topics in order to continue to play an active role in following the development of science in the medical world.
