Presenting distribution & monetization channels to online media as content owners

Aspiring to strengthen reporting integrity and combat fake business news in Indonesia, Coil and SWA collaborated. One of the results of the collaboration is the publication of SWAOnline news content for the coil platform. This collaboration is the first partnership built by Coil with other media in Indonesia.

This collaboration is unique, because both are online media, but delegate publication content to one party. Responding to this matter, the CMO of the coil Andrias Ekoyuono explained the business model scheme that was applied:

Andrias also explained that Coil wants to present another distribution channel for their content. Mentioned another idea of ​​this partnership is to make SWAOnline more amplified and take the attention away from other websites spreading the news hoax for political reasons or other misleading stories.

Andrias also said that apart from SWAOnline, Coil will also establish similar partnerships with several other online media. Already in pipeline, but for now it can not be stated in detail which online media will join next. Existing content from the media is considered appropriate to be presented in the coil, because it has gone through a strong moderating process from the editorial and has the credibility to be presented to the public. audience.
