Show Book A Series Funding From Lippo Digital Ventures

The new capital will be used for user acquisition and expansion to other countries in Southeast Asia

Redya Febriyanto, co-founder and CEO of Telunjuk stated in a press release received by DailySocial, "We are grateful to have met and exchanged ideas with John Riady and Rudy Ramawy from Lippo Digital Ventures. According to Hanindia Narendrata, co-founder and CMO of Telunjuk who was contacted by DailySocial, the A-series funding will focus on user acquisition & merchant and product development. One of Telunjuk' strategies that I think is very interesting, is its desire to enter other countries in Southeast Asia such as Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. "It's still not certain, but we want to target a market where people are already fluent in English," said Drata.

Founded in 2011, currently Telunjuk claims to receive 1.5 million monthly visits to its website which contains more than 15 million products in collaboration with local e-commerce site partners. Drata also confirmed that the main source of traffic still comes from the Google search engine, and that the majority of visitors to Telunjuk, almost 80%, come via mobile browsers.
