Hukumonline Releases E-learning to Study Law

Legal information and legal service provider portal Hukumonline recently showed its commitment to enter realm EdTech. Still around their expertise, they released "Online Course Hukumonline" as a legal learning service online.

Course-style delivery model online, it contains learning management system which contains learning content with certain topics. Each material has been systematically and contextually arranged, consisting of 5-6 sessions with the teaching method through video on-demand, practice questions, quizzes, and reading references.

Online Law Course also provide business packages for group purchases. For any paid materials, access will be granted for one year.

The COO of Hukumonline, Ramos Pandia, said that currently there are only a few learning platforms with legal themes that present competent teachers. Launching online courses At the same time, the ambition is to strengthen Hukumonline as the most complete technology-based legal learning center in Indonesia.

Hukumonline also collaborates with Jentera Indonesian Law College in content development. Lecturers from the campus also become resource persons in the courses provided. However, it was conveyed that the content did not refer to the curriculum, but to the expertise and experience of each teacher.

"We hope that this platform can become an effective learning alternative for fellow legal practitioners and academics throughout Indonesia, so that distance is no longer a problem. With relatively low costs, we hope to reach all levels of society so that they are more literate in law, ' said Ramos.

On the other hand, law learning material looks heavy for many people. However, Ramos is quite sure that along with the education carried out, more and more people are interested in studying law. "Many people do not realize that almost everything in life is in contact with the law. We innovate to present the law in a way that is relevant and also easily understood by the public."

Ramos continued, "We also see that in the midst of this pandemic distance learning is important, so we present the materials needed for students/fresh graduates law to prepare themselves for the world of work. Meanwhile, for professionals or the public in general, we also try to present important materials such as licensing for business entities, corporate criminal liability, the importance of submitting LKPM which in the future will be followed by other materials."

No mention was made of the amount of funds obtained, but it was stated that this additional capital will be focused on developing new products, one of which is boosting features "premium subscription" as the main business model.

Recently, Hukumonline also released "Premium Stories", a premium legal article service that is presented comprehensively, which can be used as a practical reference for legal professionals. "We present this service to help legal professionals to facilitate legal research, study certain legal issues while working from home," explained Ramos.

In addition, Justika as a subsidiary in the field of legal consultation platforms online also released products chat paid. Not long ago, the Justika service was also integrated into the service marketplace Bukalapak in the Legal Questions product. It was also conveyed, until the end of the year Justika will focus on the development of advanced products from chat such as document services and negotiation assistance.

Meanwhile, another business unit is Easybiz, which is a platform to assist business establishments online online, also added a new service. One of them is a postal business license and a property trade intermediary permit. "Easybiz will create a system to expand access so that more and more business actors throughout Indonesia receive assistance in processing Micro and Small Business Permits (IUMK).
