How to Register for Online and Offline PKH Social Assistance 2024

To register for the Family Hope Program (PKH) or other social assistance in Indonesia, either online or offline, you can follow the steps below.

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a social assistance program provided by the Indonesian government, with the main aim of reducing poverty and improving the quality of life of poor and vulnerable families through providing conditional financial assistance. This program is designed as an effort to provide social protection to beneficiary families (KPM) by increasing access to education, health and social welfare services. This program is different from the one for MSMEs.

Social assistance (bansos) and the Family Hope Program (PKH) are two Indonesian government initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and improving social welfare. Even though these two programs have the same goals, there are significant differences in the mechanisms, targets and conditionals applied to each program.

It should be noted that PKH recipients are not immediately registered, but need to register first. This registration can be done both online and offline. Below are the procedures:

PKH beneficiaries are usually families who fall into the poor and vulnerable categories based on integrated social welfare data managed by the government. The family must meet certain criteria set by the government to be able to receive assistance.

PKH implementation is carried out by periodically distributing aid funds to beneficiary families through mechanisms determined by the government, such as through bank accounts or other designated financial institutions.

The Family Hope Program is part of the Indonesian government's efforts to create a more just and prosperous society by reducing social and economic disparities in society. Through PKH, it is hoped that there will be an improvement in the quality of life for poor and vulnerable families as well as the creation of a healthier and more educated next generation.
