Last Friday (19/05), DailySocial get a chance to attend the graduation ceremony batch five students Hacktiv8 Indonesia, an intensive 12 Weeks education or training program to educate anyone to become proficient as full stack Javascript programmer.

On this occasion, 14 students who were divided into several teams were asked to give presentations in front of invited guests, who came from startups and corporations in Indonesia. What's interesting about this activity is the opportunity for students to directly show their abilities.

Most students who enroll in the Hacktiv8 program are those who have mastered programming and related matters. However, there are also those who come from a marketing background and intend to study further pair programming, HTML/CSS, JavaScript ES2016, Version Control, Database, Node JS & Express JS, React & Reduct, Test-Driven Development, Deployment & Scaling and Engineering Empathy, which is the topic taught in Hacktiv8

To DailySocial, Managing Director of Hacktiv8 Ronald Ishak said that the graduation ceremony was interesting to watch, because it could be seen firsthand the extent to which each student's abilities were related to the curriculum and topics they had studied, assisted by existing mentors or instructors.

"We just want to share the world if the person who was previously 'blind' Programming it could be programmer within 12 weeks,” said Ronald.

The growing need for startups and technology companies for development workers in Indonesia is the main target for graduates of this program.
