Jenius Starts Targeting SMEs, Launches Two New Services

There is a Jenius business account and a Bisniskit application to make it easier for users to manage their business

Aims to help new business owners, Jenius launched two new services, namely the Jenius business account and the Bisniskit application. Rolled out for free, the application offers a number of conveniences to new business owners or at the SME level.

"Through the spirit and process of co-creation, Jenius continues to get ideas, input and insight from digitally savvy. From this process, we found the aspiration to develop a bigger business. Now Jenius is also here for business needs so that digitally savvy can easily manage their business needs," said BTPN's Digital Banking Business Product Head Waasi Sumintardja.

Overall currently Jenus already has around 90 thousand users. The Jenius business and Bisniskit accounts can only be used by small business owners. For companies or business owners who are classified as large and already have their own company accounts, they cannot take advantage of the two applications.

"Unlike other POS platforms, our Jenius business and Bisniskit accounts are free of charge. So all new users and those who have previously registered with Jenius can use this application for free forever," said Waasi.

Full features integrated

The Jenius business account has several excellent features. First there is "Send It", making it easy to send money; second da "In & Out" to record and track transaction history; and the third "mCard" a virtual debit card for transactions online.

In addition, users also get $Cashtag and a new account number to send and receive money as well as Jenius Contacts, which functions to store phone numbers and emails for business purposes. Jenius noted that up to now, the Jenius Bisnis application has been used by users for daily transactions about 2-3 times per day.

Meanwhile, the Bisniskit application from Jenius is presented to help users manage their business more simply. Bisniskit has two main menus, namely Shop and Cashier.

Through the Shop menu, users can manage their business by using unique features, such as "Dashboard" which provides information and the latest condition of the business or store, "Products" to record products and find out what stock they have, "Expenditures" to record, create schedules, and view expense history, "Customers" to store and view customer data, and "Store Settings" to manage stores and grant access to employees.

"In this application, Bisniskit can be used by 10 people, it is hoped that new business owners can employ family or close relatives to make their business easier to run digitally," said Waasi.

Previous YouTube has also launched a similar service that also targets SMEs who want to adopt their business digitally. The difference is that the Youtap service can already use a QR Code and provide users with SKUs of up to 2 thousand more.
