Garuda Indonesia Will Provide Free Wi-Fi Facility and Electronic-Based Transaction System

For some people, being on a plane that is flying is an unpleasant experience. Not because they're afraid of heights, but because they can't retaliate mention on Twitter or upload photos to Instagram, aka do not have internet access.

Fortunately, this kind of problem will be resolved in the next few years, provided the airline you choose is Garuda Indonesia. YupThe airline, which was born under the name KLM Interinsulair Bedrijf, plans to provide free internet or Wi-Fi facilities in all of its fleets.

So far, this free Wi-Fi facility has only been installed in wide-body fleets such as Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft. However, in the future, the same facilities will also be attached to medium-sized fleets, eventually covering every passenger plane belonging to Garuda.

Along with the installation of free Wi-Fi, of course, Garuda also plans to carry out interior rejuvenation of the aircraft cabin, especially in economy class, where Garuda is indeed one of the airlines with the best economy class in the world.

There is also an increase in capacity and information technology systems. In the future, Garuda will build an electronic-based system, so that all transactions can take place digitally.

What is the example like? One of them in my opinion is boarding passes integrated with applications such as Google Now. At least in the next 1-2 years, Garuda will build an adequate information technology system infrastructure to support corporate and passenger activities.
