Garuda Indonesia Reportedly "Boycott" Traveloka (UPDATED)

For the past few days, consumers have had difficulty accessing information and buying Garuda Indonesia and Citilink tickets via Traveloka. Interestingly, similar services actually promote the availability of these two national airlines in the system. According to reliable sources, there are indeed business and trust issues between Garuda Indonesia and Traveloka which have caused the sales channel to be "closed" between the two parties.

Regarding consumer questions, which are not only 1-2 times, Traveloka's customer service team stated that there was a problem between the system and Garuda Indonesia. In fact, behind the scenes, the issue is bigger.

According to our sources, the implementation of Traveloka Online Travel Fair which coincided with the Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair phase 2 in early October did not have a good impact on the relationship between the two. Traveloka Online Travel Fair, in addition to coincide with the time and carry the slogan "no need to queue", actually cooperates with a number of foreign airlines which means taking Garuda Indonesia's revenue cake directly.
