Crewdible Reportedly Raised Series A Funding [UPDATED]

A number of investors have joined this round, including Bukalapak, Ondine Capital, 500 Southeast Asia, and Aldi Haryopratomo

Procurement solution provider startup Crewdible is reportedly raising fresh funding. Based on data submitted to the regulator, this round has been followed by a number of investors, including Bukalapak (through the entity Sierra Ranger Pte. Ltd.), Ondine Capital, 500 Southeast Asia (formerly 500 Durians), and Aldi Haryopratomo as angel investors.

When contacted, the company representative confirmed the information regarding the fresh funds received, as well as implying that the fundraising process has been completed and will provide official information in the near future.

Previously, Crewdible obtained funding pre-series A $1,5 million announced in October 2019. The round was led by Global Founders Capital (GFC).

This startup, which was initiated by Dhana Galindra in 2017, positions itself as online fulfillment service system that puts forward crowdsourcing. Crewdible utilizes empty warehouses or shophouses in various areas to work together as company partners.

Until now, Crewdible provides integrated services such as storage of goods, packing, until ready to be delivered by courier. All of these activities are in an application that is expected to make it easier for online business owners to carry out their business transactions.

Thus, business people can focus more on developing their business because of operational matters, starting from storing goods, packing, to delivery, automatically completed professionally by the Crewdible team. Besides being practical, business people can cut their operational costs to be more efficient up to 30%.

The company's vision is to form an integrated ecosystem to make it easier for everyone to start and grow their business sustainably. And its mission is to empower and develop with partners in provide service fulfillment the best in various e-commerce and SME businesses throughout Indonesia.

Based on the information provided by the company, as of last year, there were more than 7 thousand online sellers who joined, creating transactions sellers/clients as many as 6,64 million, having more than 97 thousand verified SKUs.

Next, there are 43 brands with 85 stores using Crewdible admin services, having 116 warehouse partners, 35 refrigeration warehouse partners, and presenting new OMS features. (order management system) and WMS (warehouse management system). Finally, the company has additional branch offices in Surabaya and Bandung.

In monetization, Crewdible has three warehouse categories, namely basic, standard, and pro. Each category has fulfillment fee different, among others: 2,9%, 3,8% and 4,5%. These three categories can be chosen by business people according to their needs and warehouses.

Not only procurement, the company now provides support for marketing services, in the form of product photo services, online admin services, and other services that can be tailored to the needs of business people.
