Cooperating with ORORI, Tokopedia Serves Buying and Selling Gold

Tokopedia is again innovating by introducing the Tokopedia Emas service. This new service allows users to buy and save digital gold in small amounts, or a range of 0,5 to 1 gram. This new service is a form of collaboration between Tokopedia and the e-mas application from ORORI.

Tokopedia claims to offer more competitive gold buying and selling prices when compared to other gold buying and selling platforms. Gold was chosen as the next breakthrough from Tokopedia because it is still considered to be one of the most sought after investment instruments by the Indonesian people, mainly because the price is relatively stable and tends to rise every year and because the level of gold liquidity is relatively high.

Tokopedia Managing Director Melissa Siska Juminto explained, Tokopedia Emas is a form of the company's commitment to continue to provide convenience for Toppers (Tokopedia users) to be able to start and find anything on the Tokopedia platform, including investment solutions.

At Tokopedia Emas, gold purchases can start from 500 rupiah so it is hoped that it can encourage Toppers' desire to invest. Tokopedia Emas is the second product from Tokopedia to make it easier for users to invest. Previously, in collaboration with Bareksa Tokopedia, Tokopedia Reksadana made it easier for users to invest in mutual funds.

Responding to this collaboration, ORORI's Founder George B. Sumantri explained, "ORORI believes that precious metals were not created for only certain groups. Through collaboration with Tokopedia, we want to help more people to access gold investment that is lighter, easier and safer. by online."

At Tokopedia Emas, users can transact at any time and monitor buying and selling prices in real time following the global gold reference price. After having sufficient digital gold balance, users can easily sell their gold again. In the near future, the gold savings can also be directly disbursed physically when it reaches 1 gram, to then be sent to the delivery address.

To complement its new service, Tokopedia provides four choices of delivery couriers, namely JNE, RPX and ORORI personal courier. All gold shipments must be covered by insurance. So if there is a problem (damage / loss) in shipping, then ORORI will assist in the settlement of submitting the insurance claim to the delivery courier.

Tokopedia also guarantees the authenticity of the gold purchased because it is officially issued by PT Aneka Tambang (ANTAM) and is accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) and has product standards that are recognized by the LMBA (Bullion Market Association Institution).
