Automatically Calculating Costs and Budgets in the Journal by Mekari

This is how to calculate costs and budgets using the Cost feature in Jurnal.id

Calculating costs and budgets using accountancy Journal by Mekari is one of the easy ways that you can apply to your business. Why? Because business costs in the Journal application are calculated automatically.

All you need to do is record every expense incurred in the 'Cost' menu in dashboards Journal.id

How to Record Fees in Jurnal.id

There are two ways to record new expenses in the Journal. The first is to record the fees that have been paid in full. The second is to record unpaid or unpaid expenses (debts). Below is how to record each cost.

How to record the cost in full:

  • Access and login di dashboardsJournal.id.
  • Enter menu Cost.
  • Click button Create New Fee to record new costs.

 

 

  • Select the account that will pay the fee in the column Pay From.

 

 

  • Then, select or enter the recipient's name.
  • Next, select a payment date.

 

 

  • Then, enter the payment or transaction number if any.

 

 

  • Next, re-select the expense account in the column below.

 

 

  • Then, enter the nominal fee.

 

 

  • Fill in the memo and upload attachments if any. Attachments can be photos of receipts/receipts/other transaction proofs.
  • If so, click the button Create New Fee green on the bottom right.

 

 

How to record unpaid expenses:

  • Enter menu Cost pada dashboardsJournal.id.
  • Click button Create New Fee at the top right of the page.
  • Then, on the Create New Fee page, check the box on the option Pay Later which is next to the Pay From column.

 

 

  • After that, continue by filling out the form starting from selecting an account to pay in the Pay From field.
  • Then, select or enter the name of the beneficiary.

 

 

  • Next, select the transaction date, payment due date, and payment terms.

 

 

  • After that, complete the cost account column at the bottom, fill in the description (optional), and enter the nominal fee.

 

 

  • Then, fill in the memo and attachments if necessary.
  • Make sure all the data you fill in is correct. Then, click Create New Fee to save.

Calculating Costs and Budgets in the Journal

As mentioned earlier, the calculation of costs and budgets in Jurnal.id is done automatically after you record costs. To see the automatic cost calculation, you can go to dashboardsJournal.id and open the menu Cost.

 

 

Then, you will see information about total cost for this month, total cost last 30 daysand total unpaid fee. To get transaction details or pay debt fees, you can click directly on the nominal fee display.
