Skystar Ventures UMN Supports Students to Become Young Entrepreneurs Through Entrepreneurship Development Program

In collaboration with Career Development Center Multimedia Nusantara University, Skystar Ventures UMN held a entrepreneurship developmentprogram to introduce the world startup and entrepreneurship to around 2000 third semester students of Multimedia Nusantara University. Skystar Ventures UMN also invited experienced mentors such as Lukman Benjamin Mulia (FounderandCEO of Creativox), Susanti Dewi (head of IDN Pictures), and others to share experiences about entrepreneurship.

This program will discuss some important points about the world entrepreneur, that is idea process and business development process. In stages idea process, the mentors will tell about the background of their business ideas that can answer community problems. Meanwhile, at the stage of business development process the mentors will provide tips to survive the existing competition. The mentors who were invited came from various industries to be able to represent each of the existing faculties.

Entrepreneurship developmentprogram will be divided into three sessions that are adjusted to the number of students in each Faculty. There are four participating faculties, namely the Faculty of Communication Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, the Faculty of Business, and the Faculty of Art and Design. The first session of this program will be held on September 14, 2021, followed by the second session on September 21, 2021, and the last session on September 28, 2021. Through this program, it is hoped that the motivation of Multimedia Nusantara University students to start a career as a entrepreneur more increasing. This is in line with UMN's vision to produce students with an entrepreneurial spirit, who are later expected to be able to develop businesses to encourage economic development and create jobs.
