Building the 2022 Indonesia Digital Startup Ecosystem

This report summarizes the development of the digital ecosystem in Indonesia and the 5P approach (people, place, program, policy, platform) play a role in its development. 

Compiled by a team from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics consisting of Sonny Hendra Sudaryana, Luat SP Sihombing, and Indriani Rahmawati and supported by the team DS/Innovate, This research is expected to provide a complete picture of the national digital ecosystem which is currently growing rapidly.

A number of interesting points are highlighted in this report, including digital ecosystem trends, challenges and potential, stakeholder structure, ongoing programs and platforms, to policies related to ecosystem development.

It is hoped that this study will be useful for stakeholders who are working to develop a digital ecosystem in Indonesia. Especially with the 5P approach which is expected to be able to produce solid fundamentals for the ecosystem itself.
