Yello Mobile Acquires Advertising Technology Company Adplus

Yello Mobile's second acquisition in Indonesia after price comparison service PriceArea

Yello Mobile South Korea-based announces acquisition of majority stake in advertising technology company plus. This acquisition is the second time for Yello Mobile in Indonesia, after almost a year ago it acquired PriceArea price comparison service. After this acquisition, Adplus will be encouraged to expand into the region and have a global development strategy.

Since its establishment in 2012, Adplus has accommodated more than one billion impressions every month through desktop and mobile devices. The company has three main business units, namely SMART, Hi-Impact, and GLITZ Media. SMART is a re-marketing platform focused on ROI-based advertising, which includes cost-per-click, cost-per-visit, cost-per-lead and cost-per-sales.

Hi-Impact is an advertising platform with high exposure or engagement, providing Rich Media Video Advertising, Games on Banner, and other amazing executions. GLITZ Media, on the other hand, is a premium advertising network specifically dedicated to a female audience.

Yello Mobile is indeed aggressively conducting M&A actions in the Southeast Asia region with a focus on Mobile Shopping, Media (Content), Advertising (Marketing), Travel, and O2O (Online to Offline Platform), which they briefly call SMATO.

Yello Mobile itself has planned a collaboration between Adplus and the companies it already owns. Platform-based companies (WiseBird and Cauly), digital marketing agencies (AdQUA and e-motion), and solutions companies (RecoBell) will partner with Adplus.
