XBlockchain Summit 2018 Successfully Shows Various Blockchain Product Innovations

XBlockchain Summit 2018 successfully held on 9-10 October 2018 in Bali. At least the event was attended by 500 participants from 20 countries. They come from various circles, ranging from industry, academia, government to experts.

The two day conference highlight some aspects of future development blockchain. Starting from accessibility cryptocurrency, economy blockchain, digital policy framework, technology inclusion to implementation blockchain in the corporation. Around 50 presenters presented their case studies related to blockchain.

The main theme raised at the conference was the use of innovative and long-term solutions based on blockchain for the global market. Multiple companies blockchain participating include IBM, Pundi X, NEM.io Foundation and so on.

"When we talk about blockchain, it's not [only] about financial technology; this is important for education, health, energy sector, to investment. Everywhere we talk about reforms, changes and challenges," said Loreta Maskaliovienė, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania in her session.

"New technologies are coming into everyday life for everyone. We should not turn a blind eye."

As one of the participants, Pundi X don't waste the opportunity. On the sidelines of the conference, they introduced their newest device based on blockchain named XPhone. The device is a -based telephone call service blockchain first. The aim is to show that blockchain can decentralize all types of data. The phone that was demonstrated was running the special protocol that Function X OS had.

In addition to Pundi X, there is also the Poseidon Foundation, they launched a solution based on blockchain which enables users to conserve the earth's forests through high-quality carbon credits. The initiative launched a crypto token called OCEAN.

Danny Baskara as Founder & CEO Vexanium also gave presentations at the conference. He presented an application case study blockchain for customer loyalty platform.

With this conference, at least a lot of things have become clearer, regarding adoption blockchain. We hope that this event can inspire and continue to increase in popularity and implementation blockchain going forward. The XBlockchain Summit will be held again next year, on 29-30 March 2019 in Brazil.
