Bukalapak Subsidiaries Collaborate with Jalin to Strengthen Partner Payment Systems

PT Jalin Payment Nusantara (Jalin), a subsidiary of Danareksa and PT Visi Jaya Indonesia (VJI) or known for its products "Eidupay"announced a strategic collaboration to strengthen payment system infrastructure for MSMEs that are members Bukalapak Partner.

This memorandum of understanding was signed by Jalin President Director Ario Tejo Bayu Aji, Jalin Commercial Director Eko Dedi Rukminto, and VJI Director Dessia, marking a major step in efforts to support digitalization and financial inclusion in Indonesia.

As part of the Bukalapak, VJI has a mission to create a just and inclusive economy. In order to support this vision, VJI is committed to strengthening payment system services for Bukalapak Partners, which currently covers tens of millions of MSMEs throughout Indonesia.

By joining VJI in the Link network, shop owners, credit kiosks and other MSMEs who are Bukalapak Partners will get access to a more efficient and reliable QRIS payment solution.

Jalin Commercial Director Eko Dedi Rukminto, stated that this collaboration was the first step in providing payment infrastructure support to VJI.

"VJI has emphasized its position to strengthen payment system services for merchants who are members of Bukalapak Partners. Jalin is very happy to be able to provide reliable payment solutions so that Bukalapak Partners don't have to worry when expanding their digital services," said Eko.

This collaboration is expected to have a significant positive impact on MSMEs in Indonesia through business models online-to-offline (O2O). This model allows Bukalapak Partners to reach more customers and increase sales, especially in areas with limited access to banking services.

Various virtual products and digital financial services such as bill payments, balance top-ups e-wallet, sending money and purchasing credit will become easier because Bukalapak Partners can accept payments via QRIS.

VJI Director Dessia added that the opportunities for this collaboration are very broad and are not limited to QRIS payment services alone.

"In the future, we see many other potential collaborations to realize financial inclusion that supports other O2O business models. We are committed to continuing to provide inclusive financial services and act as a digital connector that connects society with the financial and non-financial ecosystem," said Dessia.
