Viddsee's Asian Short Film App Now Enters Android Platform

About nine months from Viddsee availability on iOS platform, now the service is available at Google Play. Its availability on the Android platform makes applications containing various short films (usually less than 20 minutes) from these Asian countries expected to be able to reach audience wider area, including in Indonesia.

In his statement, Viddsee Co-Founder Derek Tan said, "Asia is a market mobile-first who has a taste for high-quality cinema content. We are proud to showcase the best talent and creativity from the region and continue to engage with the user community and audience in Asia with Viddsee."

The Android version of this application is claimed to make it easier for users to find curated short films, synchronize films between desktop and mobile devices, and watch movies offline with the automatic download feature while on a wireless network.

In developing its services, Viddsee relies heavily on engagementher with the community. This time, Viddsee collaborated with Jogja-NETPAC Asia Film Festival to provide special channel contested short films. To further attract the interest of Indonesian viewers, Derek said Viddsee is in the process of increasing the Indonesian language localization for the contents on its service.
