Veritrans Launches Payment API 2.0 to Simplify Online Transactions

Online payment system service provider Veritrans Indonesia announce attendance stack payments API 2.0 developed for one year and made specifically for the Indonesian market. This new Payment API will replace the previous system adapted from Veritrans Japan. This is the next Veritrans milestone after the beginning of 2014 renew site and service fee scheme.

According to the information we obtained, this new stack API has a number of interesting features that help simplify transactions and billing, including one click and two click for credit cards, including credit card data storage facilities through tokenization. In addition, there are additional new payment methods supported by Veritrans, such as CIMB Clicks, BRI ePayments, XL Tunai, T-Cash, and Virtual Accounts for Bank Transfers. This is Veritrans' initial support for the interbank transfer system. In addition, the existing Merchant Administration Portal was also updated with an easier and shorter system.

Veritrans Director Budi Gandasoebrata in a press release stated, "We recognize that there is a great need for a much stronger system. The volume of transactions we are processing now is much higher than when we were just founded. All of these things we anticipated but did not expect to come. much faster than expected. This will really help our merchants to be more efficient in receiving payments from buyers."

Meanwhile, Head of Community Management Veritrans Diera Yosefina Hartono added, "The number of our merchants is growing rapidly and this is one of our ways to support the growth of eCommerce in Indonesia. Our goal is to provide solutions for our merchants so that merchants don't have to worry about their payments."

Veritrans confirmed that merchants who have just integrated with their system will immediately enjoy the new API stack, while other merchants will soon migrate in the next few weeks. The explanation of the Payment API 2.0 has been carried out by Veritrans through gathering conducted in four cities some time ago.

Currently, a number of new merchants have joined as Veritrans partners, including VIP Plaza, Citrus, Etclo, and Babyzania. With this addition, Veritrans expands its portfolio after previously partnering with a number of well-known merchants such as Rakuten, Blitzmegaplex, Traveloka, Berrybenka, and Bilna.
