Touchten Games Get Funding from Discovery Nusantara Capital

Today game developer startup Touchten announced it has raised funding from Discovery Nusantara Capital (DNC) with an unspecified amount. From the start, DNC itself has conveyed its seriousness in investing in game companies in Southeast Asia with a value of up to Rp 129 billion.

This funding announcement was delivered directly by DNC at the GamePrime show initiated by Bekraf. Anton Soeharyo, CEO & Founder at Touchten Games said that this funding was based on a shared vision between DNC and Touchten to develop the game industry in Indonesia.

Previously on a separate occasion, Irene Umar from DNC expressed her interest in the game industry in Indonesia:

"When we look at the Indonesian market, there are many players. So we want to help those players to develop, not only in providing funds but more importantly also transferring knowledge, experience and resources accumulated over the years to fellow players in the gaming industry. . Through DNC, we want to create a positive impact in the Indonesian game industry."
