Fore Coffee Co-Founder & Deputy CEO Elisa Suteja shared his strategy in building a business

Fore Coffee is a coffee startup developed by East Ventures. Not long ago they got advanced funding worth 118 billion Rupiah from a number of investors, including East Ventures, SMDV and others. The interesting thing about this startup is the business concept it presents, namely by taking full advantage of technological capabilities in its operations.

On one occasion, Fore Coffee Co-Founder & Deputy CEO Elisa Suteja shared his tips for managing a business. Its retail business is trying to implement digital transformation effectively end-to-end, from order processing, delivery, to customer experience.

"The splendor of the app on-demand changing customer consumption patterns in the way they order food and drinks every day," said Elisa.

ForeCoffee start your business in August 2018, a month later they launched the app mobile devices to handle orders in his shop. Through this application, consumers can buy coffee or coffee beans.

"Office people (its main target market) want it to be fast, that's why we decided to launch the app mobile devices to handle order who entered the shop," continued Elisa.

Within five months, Fore Coffee has opened 16 outlets in Jakarta and sells more than 100 thousand cups of coffee per month. The newly acquired investment will also be focused on the development of accelerating innovation in providing experiences online-to-offline.

Technology as the key to business

Elisa said that technology is one of the main keys in running a business today, "Not only for delivered We just use existing applications, but starting from ordering on the spot to make it easier for employees, to administrative matters and operational activities such as stock of goods and sales reports."

In addition to using an application developed by herself, Elisa admitted that for operational matters, she entrusts her business to a system service provider Moka digital cashier -- both are East Ventures portfolio startups. It takes advantage of the sales report featurereal-time​to more accurately monitor sales revenue over a period of time. In addition to the report feature, Elisa also takes advantage of theingredients inventory which is very helpful in terms of warehousing.

With a large number of Fore Coffee branches, he would have to check regularly for each store. In features​inventory management, he can calculate the basic price of each product more comprehensively so that it can determine the selling price. In other words, this feature helps him manage his stock and business finances in a balanced way.
