Tiket.com Confirms Unicorn Status Clothing, Explores Potential for Flooring on the New York Exchange (UPDATED)

According to the news Bloomberg, Tiket.com is reportedly exploring the potential go public on the New York stock exchange through SPAC. The company is in discussions with COVA Acquisition Corp. (COVA), with an estimated combined company value of $2 billion. The company is also said to have the potential to raise an additional $200 million through PIPE scheme.

To DailySocial, Tiket.com confirmed the status of this unicorn. They also make sure the company is exploring its potential go public. However, the company did not say whether to use a SPAC vehicle.

"In this regard, at this time we can confirm that Tiket.com has unicorn, and Tiket.com has plans for an IPO in the future," said a spokesperson for Tiket.com.

Tiket.com was founded in 2011 and acquired by Djarum Group through Blibli in 2017. Currently, both are still running with separate legal entities (PT), so it is possible if Tiket.com holds an IPO first.

The founders of Tiket.com are Mikhael Gaery Undarsa (CMO), Wenas Agusetiawan, Dimas Surya Yaputra (CCO), and Natali Ardianto (CTO - already exit). George Hendrata is currently the company's CEO.

At a media meeting in April 2021, Tiket.com Co-Founder & CMO Gaery Undarsa convey flight ticket sales increased by 331%, while hotel reservations rose by 321%.

This positive achievement was obtained in the midst of various restrictions due to the pandemic.
