Fits.id E-Commerce Platform "Wellness" Brings Consumers closer to a Healthy Lifestyle

Currently it can be accessed via desktop and mobile web

A healthy lifestyle is now starting to become the choice of a number of people in Indonesia. This can be seen from the emergence of the sports community, the emergence of awareness to diet and choose healthy foods to avoid disease. This potential wants to be taken more seriously by e-commerce "wellness"Fits.id which has been official since February 11, 2019.

Head of Marketing Strategic and Partnerships Fits.id Pondra Nala Permana explained, Fits.id started from holistic thinking about the meaning of health and the lack of platforms that people can go to to find health products and services. So far, the existence of healthy product categories is less diverse so that it is not able to meet health needs holistically.

"Fits.id is present as a pioneer in the field of wellness e-commerce to answer the increasing public need for trusted health products and services," he explained in an official statement.

Quoted from data from Nielsen's New Global Health and Ingredient-Sentiment Survey 2016, it is stated that 70% of modern Indonesian people have undergone a certain diet to avoid degenerative diseases. While another 68% choose to invest more in foods with ingredients that match their diet.

As a result, various health products and services are keywords that are often searched for by online shoppers. Starting from healthy food, sports equipment, medical care, even health insurance.

"We have curated all the products at Fits.id to be able to support the community's needs for physical, mental, and mental health because we believe the concept of health cannot stand alone," added Fits.id E-Commerce Manager Sheila Rizkia.

Fits.id curated merchant to be able to provide 12 choices of health products and services which holistically include healthy food, sports products, personal care, medical check-up, tour packages, to insurance. In addition, there are Hot Deals discount features and a Wellness Calculator to provide insurance product recommendations and wellness appropriate.

There is also an Insurance Comparison feature to make it easier for consumers to compare insurance products according to the lifestyle of each consumer. Fits.id, continued Sheila, is supported by the insurance product aggregator site Integra. Both Integra and Fits.id are affiliated companies with different legal entity names.

This year's plan

Separately to DailySocial, Sheila added that so far the Fits.id service can only be accessed via desktop and will continue to be refined so that consumers are comfortable shopping on the site. Features will continue to be added, as well as new product categories so that consumers have more choices.

The application launch plan is still in the process of developing the concept and user experience, so that when it is launched it can be well received by consumers. "In the long run, of course we want to be the only one one stop wellness e-commerce aimed at the Indonesian people."

Along with this target, Sheila said that currently the company has no plans to monetize its business. Like other e-commerce companies at the beginning of their growth, the company is still focused on improving content, improving quality user experience, brand awareness, cultivate trust, and reputation.

"When this phase is complete, we believe that all parties at Fits.id will grow along with high sales volumes and increased revenue margins. Operationally, we also have offline stores that already have a fairly broad consumer base."

Sheila said that operational funding still comes from shareholders internal Fits.id and has no plans to raise funds, although it does not close this option in the future.
