Positive Trends In Influencer Marketing Business Underpinning Partipost's Expansion Strategy

Just posted additional $5 million in Series A funding from Quest Ventures, SPH Ventures, iGlobe Partners, and angel investor network XA Network

This time led by Quest Ventures, involved SPH Ventures, iGlobe Partners, and networks angel investors XA Network.

To DailySocial, Co-Founder & COO (and Head of Indonesia) Partipost Benyamin Ramli revealed, with the fresh funds received, the next plan is to expand and strive to provide solutions in other Southeast Asian regions. The next destination countries for Partipost are Vietnam and Thailand. The company also wants to strengthen positioning in Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, and the Philippines which have been visited previously.

"With the funds we received, our main strategy is to be able to reach more brand who do not know us or have not used the Partipost platform. One way is to increase the number of teams Sales, but at the same time we want to develop our products to help clients by increasing the number of technology teams," said Benjamin.

Until now Partipost has about 600 thousand an influencer who have downloaded the app and have worked with more than 2000 brand. Partipost has come to the Indonesian market by presenting a digital platform for an influencer. The platform tries to bridge the an influencer popular with brand who want to launch marketing activities and take advantage of their services.

In Indonesia, until now, there are many similar platforms that offer influencer marketing services, including: GetCraft, Socialabuzz, and Hiip.

"We're not here to compete, but to create great products. If our competitors do better than us, then we can learn from them. But our main focus is listening to our users' needs and creating a platform they can build on.stairs without limits as needed," said Benjamin.

Growth influence marketing during a pandemic

Even though there were obstacles at the beginning of the pandemic, but with fast digital adoption and forcing everyone to interact online online, claimed to help Partipost's business to date. Huge demand for digital activities marketing especially those who take advantage of an influencer grew significantly in number.

“Businesses still need to function and the most effective way to do that is through activities online. Marketing budget shifts away from marketing activities offline ke online, and Partipost can humbly serve businesses to market their products through an influencer who work with us," said Benjamin.

Based on data collected by Influencer Marketing Hub, the pandemic has accelerated growth influence marketing in 2020, and this number is expected to continue in 2021.

From just $1,7 billion in 2016, influence marketing is expected to have grown to a market size of $9,7 billion by 2020 and is expected to soar further to $13,8 billion in 2021.

Other interesting data that was also shared were, marketer and brand believe in the effectiveness of influencer marketing, this fact has led to an explosion in the amount of new content created over the past year. 90% of survey respondents believe that influence marketing be an effective form of marketing activity. These statistics have been relatively static since 2017, and are expected to grow in number in the future.
