The Government Uses Mandiri E-Cash as a Digital Financial Aid Service

Support the policy of implementing a cashless payment system (cashless), President Joko Widodo officially launched the Healthy Family Card (KKS) on Monday (3/11). Later, the distribution of social assistance will use a mobile phone number as an account to store funds more securely and without having to queue.

Launching news from detik.com (3/11), this social assistance is an advanced stage of the Social Acceleration and Expansion Program that was promoted by the previous government under the name of the Social Protection Card. Now Social Protection Card holders are welcome to exchange their cards for Prosperous Family Cards (KKS), Smart Indonesia Cards (KIP), Healthy Indonesia Cards (KIS), and Mandiri E-Cash SIM cards containing electronic money.

The activated SIM card functions as an account number for the distribution of the Prosperous Family Savings of Rp. 200 thousand per month after previously being activated, filling in personal data as the legal holder of the card. Regarding the search for funds owned, the card owner simply selects the menu that is available on the SIM card to get a verification code for the disbursement process at the post office that has been determined.

This process is clearly easier and shorter than having to queue and other bureaucratic matters. People now no longer need to rely too much on banks and the existence of ATMs after the implementation of this digital financial service.

“Through LKD, the government also provides security and comfort for aid recipients. After getting the HP Card with the electronic money, then the public does not need to queue to take help, because the cash assistance has been distributed through the account on their cellphone number. Later, the government will gradually distribute the three cards to 15,5 million underprivileged families throughout Indonesia as a receipt for the utilization of the Healthy Indonesia Program.

Mandiri E-Cash that supports this Digital Financial Service (LKD) previously has also helped distribute aid funds for disaster victims in Sinabung. utilizing digital financial service agents as paying institutions in Tugu Selatan Village, Koja District, North Jakarta.
