Five First Batch Plug and Play Participants Get Continued Investment of 13,5 Billion Rupiah

In addition, it also announced partnerships with corporate partners and business expansion

Indonesian Plug and Play announced that five of the nine first batch participants received advanced investment from various investors worth more than US$1 million or around 13,5 billion rupiah. The five startups are Astronaut, Brankas, DanaDidik, KYCK, and Sayurbox.

In the mailing list distributed by Plug and Play, the details of the investment value received by each startup and their investors are not explained. It's just, before DailySocial once reporting investment gains initial stage by DanaDidik from Garden Impact Investment.

"We are very proud of the achievements of our first batch of startups. After the accelerator program ends, it doesn't mean we give up on startups. We continue to provide support, starting from consulting, introducing investors from home and abroad, to helping them collaborate with partners our corporation," said Gan Kapital - Plug and Play President Director Wesley Harjono, Friday (29/12).

In addition to announcing investments, Plug and Play also announced the cooperation that has existed between its fostered startups and Gan Kapital & Plug and Play corporate partners, including Brankas, KYCK, and Otospector. Safe and KYCK in collaboration with BNI. Safe is said to have expanded into the Malaysian market.

Meanwhile, Otospector, an independent used car inspection service provider, has signed a partnership with Astra International and Sinar Mas. Astronaut is also working with one of the Sinar Mas business units which is engaged in insurance.

As for Karta, a motorcycle billboard service provider, it was announced that it had registered and patented a way of advertising on motorcycles. Not only that, Karta has also been present in eight cities, including Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Bali, Medan and Pontianak.

Wesley explained that currently his party has completed the selection process for the second batch of startups. There are 13 startup participants from various fields who will join this accelerator program and attend training for approximately three months. He also promised that GK - Plug and Play will hold two accelerator programs every year.
