Express Now Mobile Application Provides Instant Taxi Order Facility

Taxi Express announced the presence of the Express Now application to order a taxi directly. Available for platforms iOS and Android, the emergence of Express Now is a surprising step because previously Express Taxi already has a taxi booking solution for the mobile platform. This new version of the application was developed by Bsmart Malaysia with the same prototype as used by Unicablink.

In principle, Express Now provides a direct taxi booking feature. Once ordered, the nearest taxi based on the GPS position will immediately come to our location. There is no pick-up scheduling facility. This is different from the Express Taxi application which allows us to set when we want to be picked up.

People may immediately compare the function of Express Now with Uber which is being talked about because of the plan to ban it by the Transportation Service of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. In general, the use is the same because the result to be obtained through this application is the arrival of the pick-up/taxi as soon as possible. Uber's advantage over similar applications is its ability to store user profiles and payment data. Using Uber, consumers no longer have to worry about preparing cash or giving additional tips.

Taxi Express Finance Director David Santoso in the launch of this application which quoted from Kontan said, "We launched this system considering the large number of customer requests while at the same time responding to the needs of people in modern times who increasingly need something practical and fast. With Express Now, customers can find out the location of taxis because this application also has GPS."

Which becomes issue Bigger, as the booking app gets better and better, is the availability of taxis to answer those calls. I personally have tried using the Express Taxi application and it turns out that they are unable to provide the desired taxi or determine when consumers can get a pick-up. Uber, on the other hand, can provide an estimate of how long it will take us to be picked up according to the estimated distance and traffic density.

With the crowd Uber polemicIn fact, we hope that local taxi services can better serve customers with digital device facilities. There have been many improvements that I have seen in Express Taxi, including metering and payment procedures, which accommodate advanced technology. Hopefully Express Now's solution can meet the same expectations.
